Economics & Outcomes

Every mechanism connects to an outcome

Select an outcome to see which MOMs, CIM capabilities and IP contribute to it.

Contribution mappings are proposed. This site publishes no ROI estimates: modeled opportunities, target outcomes, external benchmarks and demonstrated results are labeled separately, and no demonstrated BlueHour client results are claimed.

What kind of number is this?

CategoryMeaningOn this site
Modeled opportunityA figure calculated from stated assumptionsEvery Lab figure, labeled Illustrative Simulation
Target outcomeA result a MOM is designed to produceThe five enterprise outcomes
External benchmarkA figure sourced from a named third partyNone used on this site
Demonstrated resultA result measured in a real enterpriseNone claimed. No BlueHour client has yet completed MOM-001; BUY-HOLD-SELL's historical use is at KillerIT, Forsythe Technology

Capital discipline

MOM-001 scores every AI and IT cost driver BUY, HOLD or SELL against return on invested capital. The central question is simple: why does this technology still exist? Recovered capital is redeployed so each MOM funds the next (MOM-007 Capital Redeployment).

Consumption Model Economics within MOM-001 works somewhat like a lease that continuously trues up capacity, demand, consumption and payments, which matters to the CFO, treasurer and Board. AIME, a capability within it, decides which intelligence to buy, hold or sell.

Operating leverage and enterprise value

Operating leverage means more useful economic output for the resources consumed. Extreme Operating Leverage is a financial objective, not a guaranteed outcome.

Conversion Yield measures it per MOM and for the enterprise: verified value delivered divided by total lifecycle cost, including Operating Risk Cost. Above one, the spend pays for itself; below one, it does not. BlueHour Units (BHUs) are its client-calibrated expression.

Enterprise value follows when operating performance, resilience and truthful reporting are linked to how the market values the enterprise (MOM-510).
